Reviews and Ratings
I recently stayed at this hotel and found the location absolutely ideal for exploring Sigiriya, Minneriya, and Dambulla. The service was really satisfying, with polite staff and some nice touches like fresh juice upon arrival. However, the room I had was a bit disappointing and not quite up to the expected standards for the price. Overall, I enjoyed my time there, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.
I had a lovely experience at the hotel, surrounded by nature and in a great location! The rooms were spacious and set back into beautiful grounds, offering a nice escape. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff willing to help at every turn. However, the dining experience was a tad disappointing, and while overall I found great value for what I paid, the dining options could definitely be improved.
I had a lovely stay at Signature Amaya, nestled in a beautiful wooded area by Kandamala Lake. The ambiance is charming and serene, making it feel like a nature retreat. Manojbhai and Aruna were incredibly attentive, and Chef Lal and Anjana prepared amazing Indian food tailored to our taste. However, the dining options could be better for those not wanting local cuisine, and the location is a bit secluded from the city center.
I had a mostly positive experience at this hotel. The location is beautiful and ideal for our wedding venue, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, I did encounter some issues with bugs in the room, and the dining area was often overcrowded. Overall, I found it to be a great value for money despite these drawbacks.
The hotel is nestled in a beautiful spot by the lake, surrounded by nature, which really enhances the experience. The rooms in the detached villas are spacious and well-equipped, but not as comfortable as I'd hoped. The friendly staff added a nice touch to our stay. However, the dining options were somewhat limited for those not interested in local cuisine. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential, but there are a few areas that could be improved.
The hotel is beautifully located in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature and offers stunning views across the lake. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, which was a huge plus for me. While the staff generally had a friendly attitude, I did find the service could be a bit inconsistent at times. Dining options were plentiful and featured some great local dishes, although I would have liked a bit more variety overall.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, tucked away in a peaceful setting that felt like a mini sanctuary. The individual chalets were lovely and spacious, equipped with good air conditioning, making it comfortable during my visits. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going out of their way to welcome me with cold towels and juice. However, the dining options were just okay and quite expensive, especially since it's a bit isolated from other eateries. Overall, it was a great experience but there could be improvements in the dining department.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel, which had spacious rooms and friendly staff who made me feel welcome. The location was stunning, right next to a lovely lake, perfect for relaxation and sightseeing. However, I did notice some ants in the room, and the dining options were a bit pricey, especially since the hotel is quite remote. Overall, it was good value for money, but some aspects could be improved.
I had a lovely time at this hotel, especially enjoying the spacious rooms and great location near famous attractions. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made my stay even better. However, I did encounter some ants in my room, but they were quick to resolve that issue. Overall, it offered good value for money, but the service could use a bit more warmth at times.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel with its beautiful location right by the lake and clean, spacious rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made my experience even better. However, the dining was a bit hit or miss, especially if you're not keen on local food. Also, some areas like the toilets could use a bit of updating.
